• Welcome to My Creative Year!

Thanks so much for coming to see what I've been up to. I'm in the midst of a self-challenge to *create* for a year straight. I needed something to fill a weird void I was feeling, and exploring different styles of art and creativity seems to fit the bill! So, Welcome! I'm glad you've come for a visit...
  • Heartfelt Thanks

I don't always have a chance to thank everyone who leaves such lovely comments on my projects. I just want to express my appreciation for your encouragement and compliments on my creative journey. You are all greatly appreciated!

Oh my – 12 days?

12 days – and it’s not even Christmas, so I have no excuse.  Well, actually I do:

This is Bella.  She’s a sweet little pitbull-lab mix that chose me for her new mommy.  I adopted her from the pound, I met her a week ago and she came into my life permanently on Monday.  I’ve had a lot of life changes lately – and they’re all bliss-tastically wonderful.

It’s been 17 years since I’ve had a puppy…  There are a lot of adjustments in life right now, and unfortunately my 52-week challenge has taken a backseat.  I have many projects that are lined up in my head, but between Bella and a couple other things that have been pre-occupying my world, I just haven’t gotten to them.  I hope to have another in the Tree of Life series complete by this weekend.  I’m feeling the Autumn edition coming on…

  1. Bella is just gorgeous and I am sure she will make your life just wonderful. We adopted a little Jack Russell last December after being without a dog for 14 months (I’m surprised we went so long) and it’s been the best thing we could have done – they are such a bonus to our lives and ask for so little in return for a lifetime of love and affection.

  2. Bella, Bella, Bella. What a lovely name for such a sweet pup. She is so cute. And, thank you for adopting her from a pound. Bella is going to love her
new mommy. Be sure to keep us updated on growth.
