• Welcome to My Creative Year!

Thanks so much for coming to see what I've been up to. I'm in the midst of a self-challenge to *create* for a year straight. I needed something to fill a weird void I was feeling, and exploring different styles of art and creativity seems to fit the bill! So, Welcome! I'm glad you've come for a visit...
  • Heartfelt Thanks

I don't always have a chance to thank everyone who leaves such lovely comments on my projects. I just want to express my appreciation for your encouragement and compliments on my creative journey. You are all greatly appreciated!

Love is…

…Loving where you are.

Trail Sign

Instead of driving all the way across town to hike, I just jogged a little farther up my little valley to the trailhead that leads into the wilderness area north of town.  What a glorious day to hike.  There’s never a day that I *don’t like* where I live, but there are days that I love so much more.  Today is one of those days that I’m enamored with where I live.

Spring Creek

I love all the wooden signs that dot the forests around here.  The weathered look really does it for me.

Snow Crystals

As does the snow glistening in the sunshine…

down the trail

I’m gonna continue on down the path…  Enjoying the sunshine…  Embracing today’s creative streak…

The Rattlesnake CreekAnd most of all – enjoying the view…

Before I go, though, I’ll share two more old markers from the local forests.  Obviously these weren’t taken today, but they’re still groovy as all hell!

  1. It looks fabulous, I live in the hills of Wales, and just love the remoteness of it. Thank you for your comments on my blog
